Zell am See
The area
The wonderful lake of Zell am See is just within a 2 minutes walk, as for a short bath in summer in the most beautiful lidos of the area or for skating in winter.
Our house is the starting point for wonderful walking-tours to the Hundstein, the Schwalbenwand or the schmittenhöhe.
Bicycle-routes from Krimml to Passau or Salzburg will please every bikers heard.
After one hour on one of the most famous alpine road you will stand at the Franz-Josefs-Höhe (2.369m) directly before Austria’s highest mountain, the Grossglockner (3.798m), with a view of the longest glacier in the eastern alps.
